Following the drama surrounding Ice Thatchanan, wife of Neng Mengjai, which sparked widespread discussion among the comedy community, recently comedian group Yern Scorpion visited Thairath TV and gave an interview to Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment. Yern Scorpion spoke about the issue, saying, “I feel sorry for Ice; she probably lacks maturity. If she had composed herself a bit, not posting or provoking anyone, none of this would have happened.” He also advised Ice, “Be composed, stay calm, just wait. Keep quiet and still, don’t get emotional or lash out.”
Has Neng Mengjai appeared in dreams since his passing?
Yern said, “Not really, but if you ask if I feel like he’s been at events, I do get that feeling. He might be standing behind me or watching us perform because we were close. He loved and was responsible about his work. I have smelled incense a little, but I try not to overthink it. Maybe it’s just lingering around me. I prefer not to dwell on it.”
Regarding the drama, what would you like to say to Ice, Neng Mengjai’s wife?
Yern said, “I feel sorry for her. Like I said, she lacks maturity. If she had composed herself and stayed quiet without provoking anyone, she wouldn’t have stirred things up. She didn’t intend to provoke comedian Ball Chernyim or the comedy community; she was targeting the ex-wife since they had a past. It should have been over, but it wasn’t. Yern said, “No, she should realize it herself. She’s grown. I want her to understand; I don’t want to keep warning her. She’s been heavily criticized already and should get it. Do I feel sorry? Yes, but on the other hand, she shouldn’t have posted anything. If she hadn’t, none of this would have escalated. Everyone could just live their lives separately.”

Yern said, “I was surprised if that’s true. But if it’s reported, it might be. Maybe she spent some before; we don’t know where the money went. She might have kept it and planned to divide it later. Nobody knows. I haven’t spoken directly with her because she’s been quiet, and I don’t want to bother her in case she’s not ready.”
Have you reached out to her at all?
Yern said, “No, she only messaged to thank the team and the people who helped with Neng’s funeral. I just told her to take care of her health, and that’s it. I haven’t warned her about the money or wanted to discuss much. I just hope she realizes things. She’s been silent now.”
So you don’t know where the money went even though you attended the events regularly?
Yern said, “It’s with her. It didn’t go anywhere. She probably kept it and will allocate it later. But because of this issue, she hasn’t come forward to explain.”
As a friend, did you send Neng off in a proper manner?
Yern said, “Actually, I want my friend to rest peacefully without worries. The drama damages the comedy industry and hurts Ice too. It’s hard for her to stand in this situation. I hope she thinks carefully.”
Ice mentioned in an interview about holding a concert for Neng?
Yern said, “I don’t know about that. They need to discuss what it’s for, who will receive the money, and where all the income goes. Everything must be clear to avoid more drama. Clarity will help her protect herself.”

Yern said, “Stay calm. He’s at peace now. Feel compassion for those still living. Both sides are silent; neither wants to argue. It won’t do any good. It’s better if everyone stays quiet. Silence can calm things down. To Ice, I want to say: be composed, stay patient, just wait. Keep quiet and don’t get emotional or cause a scene.”
