It was truly remarkable and brought luck to everyone at the funeral of "Neng Mengjai," a famous comedian who passed away from cirrhosis and terminal liver cancer at the age of 47 on 19 March 2026. His funeral was held over seven days.
Most recently, on the 1 April 2026 government lottery draw day, many people rejoiced when the last two digits of the winning number were "47," matching Neng Mengjai's age of 47.
This event caused fellow comedians across the industry to celebrate, such as Ball Chernyim, who posted, "Thank you so much, friend. If anyone wins, please make merit for Neng. There is much to offer this week, thank you very much, yay!" Toffee 3.50 Baht posted, "Lightly 47, my age and Neng's, born the same year, so I tried playing 30 tickets," later correcting to 35 tickets. Nai The Comedian, Jazz Chuancheun and his wife Jang posted clips showing their joy throughout the troupe. King Konbai also won with 10 tickets from Neng's age number. Former wife of Neng, JJ Yuwachat, also won from Neng's age number.
