After Pa Chu from Wat Sewat joined the "Open Mouth" program on Thairath TV Channel 32 to open up about the drama surrounding the ashes of the late young comedian, Nong Meng Jai, Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment interviewed Pa Chu after his participation at the Thairath TV building on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.
During the interview, Jack Green asked if Nong Meng Jai had ever appeared in his dreams. Pa Chu replied, "Just now, at the temple. To be honest, I grew up in the temple and live in the cemetery. My lion dance troupe is based in the cemetery, so I know the smell of corpses well. But today, when we were separating the bones, Nong Meng Jai followed me. I'm one hundred percent sure. There was a scent."
I even asked the reporters if they could smell it. I told all of them the truth. I said Nong Meng Jai was following me. I told the reporters, and they were all stunned. I wasn’t imagining things; from my experience living among the deceased in the cemetery, I think he came when we were separating the ashes. It seemed like Nong Meng Jai was happy to finally move on, no longer needing to stay in that room. I believe it a million percent because I live in the cemetery—I’m a temple kid."
