The drama has ended regarding the issue of dividing the ashes of Neng Mengjai. After Neng's current wife and children came to collect the ashes and divided them amicably, Neng's daughter, Nong Guitar, along with relatives, took the ashes for a water scattering ceremony.
Meanwhile, JJ Yuwachart, Neng's second ex-wife, also participated in the water scattering ceremony with Nong Guitar.
Recently, Thairath Entertainment had the exclusive opportunity to interview JJ, who opened up about her over 10 years working as an eyebrow tattoo artist. She revealed Neng Mengjai, who was then still her husband, was her first model. She also shared a chilling story about Nai The Comedian posting a clip with Neng Mengjai's ashes, which contained mysterious sounds at the end.
JJ said she began her career as an eyebrow tattoo artist more than 10 years ago, and Neng Mengjai was the first person she tattooed on real skin. She asked him to be her model, and he agreed. At that time, P'Ball and P'Yuri said, "Are you crazy to be your wife's practice model?" But it didn't turn out badly, just not very beautiful.
This profession supports her family, but she has temporarily closed her shop. She plans to reopen when the economy improves and is currently doing off-site work.
JJ added that after appearing on a show, she received a lot of positive feedback and encouragement. She felt relieved and happy that her friend Mangpor Cholticha understood her. She said there was no need for lengthy explanations because her friend already understood. Her intention in appearing on the show was not to speak about anyone in particular but to explain her side and her friend's.
Regarding the clip Nai The Comedian recorded, which seemed to have crying sounds—JJ was present then. They had just been searching through Neng's bones to find teeth, which the children would keep individually. Nai was the last to come down from the room. They didn't know he secretly recorded the clip or that it contained the sounds.
JJ felt as if Neng came down to see them off. Nai called back to tell her, describing a jasmine fragrance—the same jasmine flowers JJ had ordered to cover the ashes. When Nai told Neng not to see him off and to be with his family, the scent disappeared. JJ thinks Neng came to thank Nai The Comedian and his wife, who handled the arrangements until the end.
When asked if she felt Neng visited her, JJ said she did and shared the dream. Actually, it was not her own dream but the grandchild of Aunt Jaew, wife of P'Robert Saikwan. Aunt Jaew had been doing seven days of meditation practice and came back to the funeral. In the dream, Neng appeared to Aunt Jaew's grandchild asking to call JJ and her daughter out. He apologized and told Penny, "Dad loves you very much," then a man in white appeared to take him away.
They had endured 17 years of good and bad times together. Ultimately, when one passes away, letting go and forgiving is necessary. Neither was perfect; like tongue and teeth, they hurt each other. But everything must be forgiven.
When she knocked on the coffin and spoke to Neng that day, she felt goosebumps all over. She asked for help so that many people would see JJ's work and come to get eyebrow tattoos to support her financially, as she raises her child indulgently. Penny gets whatever she wants, and now that Neng is gone, JJ buys whatever Penny wants but tries to explain things to her.
JJ also thanked everyone for their support: "Thank you very much to friends, relatives, and fans of Neng who have loved, supported, and encouraged me through Facebook. Thank you so much. I haven't replied because there are so many messages and I'm busy with work."
She also spoke about the day she went to the temple to collect the ashes, saying she stayed in the car to avoid conflict and to bring closure, supporting from behind the scenes.
When asked if she feared being seen as the lead actress, JJ said, "If people see me that way, I have to be more cautious. If I had known their intentions from the start, I would have stepped back immediately. When I went to collect the ashes, I stayed in the car to avoid confrontation. I wanted Neng to rest peacefully without any worries or conflict. Now that everything is over, I feel relieved, and everyone is at peace."
