Regarding the hot topic concerning Neng Mengjai the late young comedian, who Ice Thalanchan Neng's wife, faced drama about Neng's ashes, funeral donation money, and various other issues, prompting Ice to clarify what had happened.
In addition, there was drama involving Nai The Comedian a young comedian who performed at the market opening event hosted by two famous comedians, Mum Jokmok and Nong Chachacha. During the show, Nai brought his wife Jeed onto the stage dressed in white, holding a donation box for charity. He also mentioned an amount of 32,000 baht, which many linked to mocking Ice. Recently, Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment interviewed the well-known comedian Nong Chachacha and asked about the issue.
Asked about the drama involving Neng Mengjai?
“I think it will soon be over. There's nothing to it. Everyone loved Neng and his family, especially Ball and Yuri. They always talk about Neng. There's nothing wrong. Maybe some small mistakes or misunderstandings about how much concern he had. I believe Ball and Yuri cared a lot; they loved Neng very much.
Ball has been with Neng for a long time, and Yuri too. It's like they're siblings, almost like his own children. So, everything Neng left was entrusted to Ball and Yuri; Neng was like one of their children. I think everything's fine now. It's all been cleared up. Ice has done her part as his wife. Ball is supporting behind the scenes, taking care of the grandchildren's tuition.”
Asked about the drama involving Nai The Comedian?
“Nai is the same. I've already apologized (with a wai). Actually, he didn't mean it that way. He wanted Ball to smile. Sometimes people don't think things through or see why something is done a certain way. It wasn't intentional.
I think when someone doesn't intend harm, they must accept that they might be criticized. People should be able to criticize. So when they criticized him, he apologized, and that settled it. In Thailand, just a simple apology makes things better and closes the matter.”
Has Nai apologized to Nong?
“Yes, he has already apologized.”
Did Neng appear in a dream or bring lottery luck?
“He really brought luck. That day I was recording 'Come On,' and I didn’t buy a lottery ticket. But Ball helped with the tire expenses for the vehicle that took Neng’s body. He said the tires needed replacing and paid 5,000 baht at P’ Louis (Chuan Chuen). I told Ball I’d contribute 1,000 baht to help.
Then I won a three-digit lottery number. Neng gave me luck because I hadn’t bought a lottery ticket before recording 'The Wall Song.' Someone came and sold tickets and told me 'Nong, this will bring you luck.' So I bought it, and it did bring luck – enough to cover the transportation costs for bringing the body. So, I consider that Neng gave me luck.”
