Bright Pitchayathorn Delighted as Thai Diesel Price Drops by 2 Baht, Shocked by Japans Prices

After the famous couple, singer Tor Saksit and news anchor Bright Pitchayathorn Chanput cleared their schedules and escaped the heat in Thailand by flying to Japan to enjoy the cold weather. On this trip, Bright posted photos and videos capturing the blissful atmosphere on her Instagram @bright_ch3. She was very lucky, as besides enjoying cherry blossoms in full bloom, she also had a clear view of Mount Fuji without any clouds obscuring its beauty. Bright captioned the post, “Tourist escaping heat to find coolness” and “So lucky, 8 degrees Celsius, clear skies, full view of Mount Fuji @torsaksit.”

Additionally, Bright Pitchayathorn took on the role of a field reporter covering fuel prices in Japan and Thailand. She posted a photo at a gas station in Japan, writing, “Yay! So happy! Diesel in Thailand dropped 2 baht = 48 baht per liter, while in Japan it’s 32 baht per liter .”

This surprised fans because there is a 16 baht per liter difference between Thai and Japanese fuel prices. Though it is good news that diesel prices in Thailand have fallen to ease living costs, comparing it to Japan’s price of 32 baht per liter at current exchange rates highlights a clear price gap from a tourist’s perspective.
