After fans have been urging Bie Sukrit or Bie The Star to return to the industry and hold concerts, after he chose to live a simple, happy life on a spiritual path,
many have expressed on social media that they have been fans and followers since childhood, and now with work and money ready to buy concert tickets, they are willing to attend any event, whether a chanting concert or a Kathin meeting, eager to see Bie again.
Eventually, Bie softened and released a new song after 5 years titled “U Bo Chang.” He said this song was created starting in 2018 and was refined until completion in 2020. It is a song that Bie likes the most, even to the point of purchasing its copyright himself.
Recently, Bie livestreamed and chatted with fans, during which someone commented that the song's cover looked like a photo sent to a teacher during high school.
Bie explained, “It was done simply. The cover photo you see was taken by the lighting technician. I work at a temple, and the company asked me to send some photos for the YouTube cover. I wondered how to do it, and since the lighting technician was working nearby, I asked him to take the photo to send to the company.”
Then someone else commented, “The cover looks like a Monday greeting.” Bie responded, “Not quite. I don't know if everyone has seen the TikTok cover image where I’m wearing pink pants with 'U Bo Chang' written next to me and a backdrop like a canvas. That one, my mother took. I went back to Chiang Mai, stood in front of the garage, laid out the canvas, and had my mom take the photo. She’s a photographer. We used a local production, Local Studio.”
