Earlier, many people became concerned when Jaturong Mokajak experienced hiccups continuously for 8 hours, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This had never happened before, so he rushed to the hospital where doctors injected medication into his arm to reduce diaphragm muscle spasms. After resting for 20 minutes, his condition returned to normal.
Recently, Uncle Rong gave an interview to Thairath Entertainment saying that two days earlier, after working all day, he developed a strange condition— continuous hiccups. He had never experienced hiccups like this before. Normally, hiccups stop within about half an hour, but his were frequent and nonstop, making it hard to breathe. This lasted from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The team said it was necessary to go to the hospital to ask the doctor what was happening.
So he went to see the doctor, who examined him internally and explained that the diaphragm and airway normally move alternately during breathing, but his were out of sync. When asked if it was serious, the doctor said it wasn’t dangerous but if it continued, it would be irritating and persistent. The doctor then gave him an injection, and after a while, the hiccups stopped.
This condition does not occur easily, and the main fear was that continuous hiccups would prevent breathing, which could be fatal. That’s why he had to see the doctor.
At his age, he had never experienced such a condition before; the worst was just occasional hiccups. Since the injection, it has been about a day and a half with no further symptoms.
