Friends in the entertainment industry have been sending waves of concern for Jaja Primrata Recently, she posted a photo while recovering in the hospital after having emergency surgery due to the discovery of chocolate cysts.
Jaja explained in her caption that this hospital visit followed an ultrasound that revealed two chocolate cysts, which are ovarian cysts caused by endometrial tissue growing abnormally. The cysts were too large to be treated with medication, so the doctor decided that immediate surgery was necessary.
Fortunately, the cysts were not large enough to require open abdominal surgery. The doctor therefore opted for laparoscopic surgery, which results in smaller wounds and less pain.
Jaja took the opportunity to thank the medical team, nurses, and family, especially her partner Peer Jib Wasu as well as friends, relatives, and fans who sent an overwhelming amount of encouraging messages. She said this positive energy gave her strength to practice walking and work on her recovery quickly.
The doctor has allowed her to return home to continue recuperation, and it is expected that she will be able to drive normally again next week.
