Naphat Portrays Mangjijwa, Reinforcing His Acting Prowess Reveals Positive Audience Response

Naphat opens up about the behind-the-scenes of filming a grand historical series, admitting that taking on the role of Mangjijwa, King of Hongsawadi, is the highest honor in his acting career, further affirming his identity as an actor.

Naphat revealed that this work was done wholeheartedly, dedicating himself to studying history and traveling to the actual sites in Hongsawadi, Myanmar, to absorb the atmosphere.

"I saw the king’s bedchamber; it felt very lonely and isolated. This role helped me understand that war only brings loss. Mangjijwa himself truly wished for every family to be reunited and hoped to avoid bloodshed," he said.

Attention is focused on the relationship between Mangjijwa and King Naresuan, which netizens have edited into a popular 'ship' trend. Naphat said he is not bothered by the criticism but is glad viewers connect deeply with the characters.

He added that he saw “Tree” truly embody King Naresuan from the fitting day, and in the script, they are close friends who must fulfill their duties for the country.
