This is considered good news that makes Add Yuenyong Opakul or Add Carabao, the famous Phleng phuea chiwit (Songs for Life) artist, extremely happy when Solo Vorman Opakul, his son, who is a police officer, was promoted to acting Police Lieutenant Colonel, and the father gave him a Rolex watch as a gift. Regarding acting Police Lieutenant Colonel Solo Vorman Opakul is the youngest son of Add Carabao and Linjong Opakul. In his childhood, he attended Thapkaew Kindergarten, Yuklathorn Kindergarten, and Khao Yai International School. The frequent school changes were due to his father's work requiring the family to move often.
During secondary school, Solo studied in Melbourne, Australia, for more than four years before returning to continue in the international curriculum at American School International Bangkok. Afterward, Solo studied with the Non-Formal Education system to obtain equivalent qualifications, then pursued higher education at Assumption University in the Communication Arts faculty, transferred to Mahidol University for Animation, then to Stamford University for Hotel Management, eventually graduating with a bachelor's degree.
Solo Vorman developed a passion for shooting since childhood. Although born into a family of singers and musicians, he sought a high-paying job. Seeing his father enjoy shooting and having practiced shooting since age 10, he wanted to become a mercenary soldier in France to save money and gain independence after military service. However, his parents discovered this plan and prevented him from going.
After missing the chance to be a mercenary in France, he returned to complete university studies to fulfill his father's dream. His turning point to becoming a police officer came from witnessing drug problems and theft issues, leading him to train in the 36th Police Cadet Course and then join the police force.
Solo Vorman was first commissioned as Police Sub-Lieutenant, deputy inspector, assigned to the Police Club and Recreation Welfare Division. He was responsible for overseeing the police club area, organizing seminars, managing venue rentals for parties and weddings, and demonstrated investigative skills by uncovering fraud in a Ponzi scheme at the club. He also handled cases involving police officers' children sneaking into the club pool at night.
Additionally, Solo Vorman took part in operations combating elephant tusk smuggling gangs and drug trafficking arrests in 2024 before being promoted to Police Lieutenant. Most recently, in 2026, Solo Vorman was promoted to acting Police Lieutenant Colonel at age 39.
Regarding the child abduction case from 2005, which was used to attack Add Carabao, the young police officer explained that the court had long acquitted him due to lack of evidence linking him to the case. He said it is unfair for incorrect information to be dredged up to attack him and his family, especially since he has chosen the right path throughout.
In his personal life, Solo Vorman married Igg Saitharn Pornprasertmanit on 9 November 2016 at the Plaza Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, coinciding with Add Carabao's birthday.
