After the country singer Ja Nongpanee Mahathai announced the sad news that her father, Pradit Mahathai, had passed away following an accident in late January 2026. He was severely injured and hospitalized for over two months. Despite medical efforts, he could not be saved and passed away on the morning of 12 Apr 2026 GMT+7.
Most recently, Ja Nongpanee posted a photo of her father’s funeral schedule, writing, “Details of my father’s funeral.. Thank you all for your support.” Many from the entertainment industry and fans expressed their condolences.
The water-pouring and prayer ceremonies for her father are scheduled at house number 83, Sa Wang Ha Subdistrict, Sa Wang Ha District, Ang Thong Province, with the following details:

Ja Nongpanee and her family are honoring her father’s last wishes, who said during his lifetime, “Nong Lek, when I pass away, don’t cry excessively. Stay composed, and don’t hold prolonged ceremonies.” Accordingly, the family is holding a simple ceremony at home and limiting prayer services to four days, avoiding extended events as he requested.
