After the country singer Ja Nongpanee Mahathai announced the sad news that her father, Pradit Mahathai, , had passed away due to a severe injury from an accident, after being hospitalized for over two months, before peacefully passing away on the morning of 12 Apr 2026 GMT+7.
Recently, Ja Nongpanee posted a video of her family pouring water over her father's hands and gathered together as parents and children at the hospital before he peacefully passed away, amidst the family's deep grief. Ja captioned the post as follows:
“Father: Nong Lek, if I die, don’t cry or be overly upset. You must stay composed and don’t hold a prolonged funeral.
Ja: Why? Why would you want to hurry to die? Father: Everyone is born to die. It’s a long journey ahead. Thank you for giving me life and raising Nong Lek so well. I love you the most. 輸
