Today, the family held a cremation ceremony at the crematorium of Ban Phet Temple, Sa Waeng Ha District, Ang Thong Province. After the traditional cloth-offering ritual, Jah Nongpanee delivered a eulogy for her father, saying.
"Thank you to everyone on social media who has embraced me and my family. Today, Mom, Pee Pek, Nu Lek, and Nu Yai have come to send Dad off. Dad, you don't have to worry about anything anymore. Thank you for giving us life. Thank you for teaching us to be good people. Thank you for teaching us to save money.
I appreciate that when I was a child, you often talked about death, saying that our bodies are not truly ours, our breath is not ours, and even our parents are not ours. If someday you pass away, I shouldn’t grieve excessively or hold a prolonged funeral. We must stay mindful to take care of everyone."
Dad told Mom, 'Do you know why I plant so many trees? Because my family, the kids, have to work and don’t spend much time with their parents. So I plant trees so that when I die, my children will see the trees and know that Dad planted them.'"
"I want to tell Dad that even without the trees, Nu Lek and Nu Yai will remember and miss you. We love you, Dad. May you rest in peace. One day, we will meet again."
