Update on Ann Angkanas Condition: Battling Multiple Illnesses and Urgently Transferred Due to Lung Fluid

After Ko Teerasak shared the latest images of Ann Angkana Timdee who is seriously ill with multiple diseases, along with photos of friends from the KITA artist group led by Ko Teerasak, Honey Phatsorn, Ae Chutima, Mar, and Gift from the band T-Skirt. They presented funds totaling 125,000 baht raised from The Lady Concert to Ann to help cover her medical expenses.

Recently, Thairath Entertainment contacted Ko Teerasak for an update on Ann Angkana's condition. Ko revealed that Ann recently left the ICU to receive financial help from friends. She is currently in good spirits and plans to perform in concerts once she recovers. He also disclosed that Ann has developed lung fluid accumulation and had to be urgently transferred to another hospital.

“Previously, Ann Angkana had kidney disease for about 20 years. She managed and treated herself, undergoing dialysis every 2-3 days continuously. She weighs just over 40 kilograms, which is very thin. She was recently diagnosed with a new condition—cancer in her digestive tract—and needs about 20 chemotherapy sessions, of which she has completed two.

We tried to arrange a meeting after the concert on April 5 to see when she could come because her health was fragile. Finally, on April 15, we met. She said she needed to undergo dialysis first. Before delivering the funds, we learned she had a bloodstream infection, which shocked us. We watched for hourly updates, but Ann was determined to meet us, arriving just after leaving the ICU.

Ann's morale is very strong. She said she is in her 60s and, with various diseases, must treat symptoms as they come. She cannot work and has no income, but thankfully friends still remember her. We think that if we have friends who are ill, we should not overlook them because every moment is vital to their lives. We've shared happiness before, and now, when a friend suffers, we want to help ease their burden.

For treatment and medical costs, Ann uses government healthcare rights, though some medications are only partly covered. Overall, she has worked with many seniors who take turns caring for her. She has friends and strong support. She also said that if she recovers, she will join us on stage again. Although Ann's condition is serious, she has excellent morale and energy; just being able to stand is amazing.”

Additionally, friends told Thairath Entertainment that Ann Angkana was previously treated at Ruam Jai Rak Hospital, Sukhumvit 62. They revealed she now had to be urgently transferred due to lung fluid accumulation.
