Recently, Nadetch Kugimiya and Yaya Urassaya Sperbund participated in an important ceremony held in a simple yet profoundly meaningful setting in their hometown of Khon Kaen Province.
On a morning filled with warmth, the couple appeared in auspicious red traditional Thai costumes, intricately embroidered and exuding elegance. Leading the family were Mae Kaew and Mae Pla, along with respected senior relatives who came to witness this significant day.
The uniqueness of the event lay in its traditional Isan-style rituals, specifically the Bai Sri Su Kwan ceremony, which serves to welcome and bless the couple. Nadetch and Yaya sat side by side before a large Bai Sri offering tray, as elders took turns tying auspicious threads around their arms, imparting blessings with warm smiles.
