Ja Nongpanee Reveals Mysterious Footprints in Front of Fathers Portrait Despite No One Entering the Room

This is a personal belief story that gave many people goosebumps when the spicy folk singer Ja Nongpanee Mahadtai went live chatting with fans and, at one point, talked about mysterious footprints in front of the portrait of her father, Pradit Mahadtai, Ja's late father.

Ja Nongpanee explained that she doesn't know how other houses do it, but at her home, when a funeral is held, once her father's body is taken to the crematorium, his portrait is quickly brought back home. Then, a water bowl, white cloth, and white powder are set up to place the portrait, because it is believed that the cremation oven is hot, so the water bowl is necessary. She's not sure about other homes, but this is the practice at her house, and no one enters that room at all.

Once the portrait is placed there, no one goes into that room at night because they watch to see if there are footprints showing that he has returned home. People from rural areas know about this. They check if there are footprints or what kind of footprints—some appear like a chicken's, some like other shapes.

Afterward, Ja showed a picture of her father's portrait sitting on a chair with a water bowl beside it. There is a white cloth laid out and powder sprinkled in front of the portrait. Then she revealed that the powder in front of the portrait looked like footprints, emphasizing that no one had entered this room because it is her father's room at their house in Ang Thong.

Ja went on to say, "Could it be a dog? First, no one entered. Second, the table is like this. The person who took the photo was my sister, Pek (Walaya Mahadtai), because she took the portrait in the morning to make merit at the temple. But it felt good that Dad had come back. That's all Dad knows."
