Danny Sripinyo Reflects on His Stroke Experience, Revealing Lifes Truths and True vs. False Friends

The sudden passing of the former young actor is considered sad news in the entertainment industry. Danny Sripinyo. He died from acute kidney failure at the age of 57, amid the deep sorrow of his family, friends, and fans who learned the news.

It was previously well known that Danny had suffered a stroke caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. He had shared his experience on the “Boriboon Family” YouTube channel by Tuk Boriboon. He said he had a stroke with a brain blood vessel rupture around 2009. At that time, Pa Kik (Kiatti Kitjaroen) and Pa Tik (Tik Klinsi) took care of him. When it happened, it made him reflect on many things. Back then, he was partying and neglecting his health, with a belly hanging on the steering wheel. The doctor said he was one of hundreds of thousands lucky enough to survive a blood vessel blockage and rupture, which are equally dangerous, but he returned to normal without disability. He considered himself very fortunate.

He emphasized the importance of taking care of oneself by exercising regularly and reducing nightlife, as previously he hadn’t rested enough. Sometimes after filming, he would go drinking, but inside his body, he didn’t know if it could handle it. He learned this lesson. The incident also made him see life’s realities because when it happened, he didn’t know if he would come back like this. But once he did, it made him value his own life and recognize the true and false friends around him.

He said he used to have many subordinates around him, but when the incident happened, it was like a complete blackout; he lost consciousness. Those who were beside him before he closed his eyes didn’t think he would open them again, so they left. When he regained consciousness, he saw who stayed in tough times. He said it was okay and told his wife that if she wanted to move everything and live at his mother-in-law’s house, it would be fine. At that time, they didn’t have children yet. If he hadn’t met her, he would have had to live like that anyway, moving to live in the provinces.

When Tuk asked about the cause of his stroke, Danny explained that no one really knows what’s happening inside. Whether you are fat or thin, you can be at risk. He felt that it chooses no time, age, or place, so it’s impossible to say at what age it might happen.

He advised people to take care of themselves gradually. For example, he still likes pork leg rice but without pig’s feet, eating only meat. Living in the countryside, there aren’t as many restaurants as in Bangkok, so it’s a bit less. He also completely avoids soda because of the high sugar content. Diet and food choices play a role.

The causes of stroke include stress, insufficient rest, poor diet control, and lack of exercise. These increase the risk. Urban society contributes to this, but living like this in the countryside makes him happy. Some might see it as hardship, but it depends on perspective.
