The incident occurred after Mee Kanom (ex-wife) did a live stream chatting with fans on TikTok, during which her daughter Nong Tangjai interjected saying "Mom... I want a new van because we don't have one anymore." This sparked netizens' questions and wide speculation about whether Teacher Toey Apiwat was demanding the van back from his daughter. The teacher did not delay and went live to clarify all the points.
Reason for borrowing the van
Actually, there was no problem. On that day, I had to work in Khon Kaen province with several jobs and had to fly there. Since I didn't have a standby vehicle there, I asked P'Noom to request to borrow the van because at that time my daughter had no plans to go anywhere except school as usual.
Managing the daughter's transportation
From my perspective, that day was a weekend, and even if my daughter had to go to school, she could use the Fortuner or one of the many pickup trucks we have at home since the school is only 3 to 4 kilometers away. She could travel easily without difficulty.
Explaining the van's condition
The real issue was the van's condition. It had been used for several years (since 2020-2021), and now it is 2026. On the day I picked it up, the tires were close to bursting. I actually did not use the borrowed van because it broke down, so I ended up calling Grab instead. Currently, the van is still being repaired at a garage in Khon Kaen.
