Nui Chernyim Shares Bond with Danny Sripinyo, Saddened by Loss of Two Cat Gang Members

Regarding the sad news of the passing of Danny Sripinyo, the former well-known comedian, famed for the legendary "Je Tum Raberd Terdterng" character, who passed away from acute kidney failure on 20 Apr 2026. Today (21 Apr 2026), the family held a religious ceremony at Wat Pa Sak, Doem Bang Nang Buat District, Suphan Buri Province, with the water-pouring rite scheduled at 16:30. Family, relatives, close friends, and entertainment industry colleagues gathered to pay their respects to Danny.

On the side of Nui Chernyim, he attended the water-pouring ceremony and Buddhist prayers. He also gave an interview about Danny, expressing shock at how quickly he passed. "Illness took him swiftly. I worked with Danny for nearly 30 years alongside Pae Gik and P' Tik Klinsee on the show 'Game Pan Na.' Danny was a kind person and part of the 'Cat Gang' featured on the show." The 'Cat Gang' included Danny, Nui, P' Kobchok (Na Chuey from Raberd Terdterng), P' Jaturong, Pae Gik, and P' Tik. Now, two members of the 'Cat Gang' have passed away: P' Kobchok and P' Danny.

When Danny was ill, we heard the news while working together. He suffered a brain hemorrhage the first time, which happened after climbing Kitchakoot Mountain and encountering pressure from the altitude. Danny had been unwell since then. Pae Gik took care of him continuously, and they kept working together. At first, Danny wanted to stop, but Pae Gik encouraged him to keep going, so he did until they eventually parted ways. Danny then moved to Suphan Buri with P' Kwang (his wife) to start a family, so we didn’t meet often.

We recently met again on a show where he made a guest appearance as Je Tum from Raberd Terdterng. After that, we hadn’t met for several months until Pae Gik and P' Jaturong informed me that Danny was hospitalized and passed away suddenly.

He revealed that Danny was a kind person who planned his life well and managed his finances carefully. He always taught that people in the entertainment industry should save a lot because our careers are not permanent. Danny practiced what he preached, saving money until he moved to Suphan Buri, where he used his savings. Although he worked hard, he unfortunately fell ill. The things he loved most were his wife and children.

When asked if he wanted to say a final message to Danny, Nui Chernyim said, "He has endured a lot and been ill for a long time. I hope he rests peacefully in a good realm. People have only two things: either they are alive or they have passed; it is only a matter of time."
