Tuk Boriboon Honors Danny Sripinyo as a Debt-Free Role Model, Shares Last Teaching That Left a Deep Impression

The passing of the former famous comedian Danny Sripinyo at the age of 57, peacefully passed away yesterday due to acute kidney failure, causing sorrow among his family and many colleagues.

And today, Tuk Boriboon attended the funeral prayer ceremony for Danny Sripinyo at Pa Sa Kae Forest Temple in Doem Bang Nang Buat District, Suphanburi Province, and told reporters that

He knew Danny had suffered a stroke before but was unaware of his kidney disease because they mostly shared cheerful moments when they met. He did not realize Danny was ill; the last time they met, Danny was in good health.

When asked what he would say to Danny, Tuk said that as a young person in the entertainment industry, he admired the seniors. As he grew up, he became curious about their lives. After getting close and talking with Danny, he loved him without realizing it, especially admiring his way of thinking.

He openly admitted he once thought about buying land because he saw how Danny lived simply. If he had a home in old age, life like that would be enough. Instead of wanting more, just not having to struggle would bring happiness.

The phrase from Danny that stayed in his heart was "A life without debt, no need for excess, no need to compete — just enough with what you have."

Asked how he feels now that Danny is no longer here, Tuk said, "Of course, it’s sad, but I believe he planned his life well. He once said that even if he passed away, everything would be debt-free, with savings for his children's education. One thing I really like is how much I admire Nong Eva. I saw a video and wondered why this child has such a beautiful heart. I asked Danny’s friends, and they said that at the funeral, Nong Eva never cried but when back at home, she held her mother’s hand and cried. We were surprised that a 9-year-old child could have such thoughts."

Danny had said he wanted to build a barn, and today that dream has come true. No matter how many times they met, he always said he wanted a Western-style barn to store his collections. Everything would be kept there. Today, his children have fulfilled that dream. Another phrase I like is that he planned everything to be debt-free with savings for his children's education as much as possible. Today, he has achieved that."
