Danny Sripinyos Family Holds Merit Ceremony with 9 Monks Before Cremation

Regarding the case of the young actor, Danny Sripinyo, who passed away from acute kidney failure on 20 April 2026 at the age of 57. The family arranged the funeral at Wat Pa Saket, Doem Bang Nang Buat District, Suphan Buri Province, with the cremation ceremony scheduled for today (23 April 2026) at 3:00 p.m.

Earlier this morning, 23 April 2026, at Wat Pa Saket, Kwang Pojanee Sripinyo, Danny's wife, along with relatives, made merit by offering alms to nine monks. Danny's adoptive siblings also joined the merit-making, and Ple Napath, the daughter of Deaw Dok Sadao, represented the family at the ceremony.

The family prepared food placed before the funeral altar, including chicken rice, cocoa drink, and taro dessert—favorite items of Danny, especially during his illness when he requested less sweet cocoa. Today, Kwang's elder sister arranged this as his final meal before the cremation ceremony.

Danny's four adoptive older siblings, Mrs. Nuanchawi Sripinyo, aged 74, the eldest, Miss Nuansawat Sripinyo, aged 73, the second and a twin, Mr. Somchat, the third, and Mr. Somchai Sripinyo, aged 72, the fourth, came to bid farewell. They said Danny was a lovely person, though sometimes loud and boisterous. When their mother was alive, he often took their parents and siblings out for nice, expensive meals.

After building a house in Suphan Buri, his siblings visited twice. Each time, Danny was very happy to live in Suphan Buri with his family. He once said he was tired of Bangkok's chaos and wanted a calm, natural life. Kwang, his wife, was very kind and took good care of him. The siblings also cared well for him. She is strong and will surely take good care of their granddaughter, Eva.

Kwang Pojanee expressed gratitude to everyone, including artists and shops who contributed to the event. She mentioned a coconut water shop where Danny was a regular customer; yesterday, they tearfully brought hundreds of bottles to share. When Danny bought from them, he refused to pay, so he used to give bananas in exchange and became close with them. She also thanked all the wreath senders and distinguished guests on behalf of the Sripinyo family from the heart.
