
Trat Province: Lamyai Hightongkham appeared at the temple to support 'Boss Aewwan' as he shaved his head in preparation for ordination, repaying his parents' kindness at Wat Chang Thun, Trat.
On 24 April at 3:00 p.m., the atmosphere at Wat Chang Thun, Bo Rai District, Trat, was lively due to the head-shaving ceremony for the novice, Boss Aewwan, also known as Montien Dettrakul, preparing for ordination to repay his parents' kindness, surrounded by relatives and a large crowd of attendees.
The highlight of the event was the appearance of famous luk thung singer Lamyai Hightongkham, who arrived in a private van with a news team before joining in to support Boss at the temple as his close older sister. She participated in the initial hair cutting before the novice's head was shaved, offered words of encouragement and joined in the merit-making ceremony, then departed immediately amid cheers from fans gathered densely at the temple pavilion.
Boss Aewwan revealed he intends to ordain to repay the kindness of his parents, family, and elder relatives who raised him. He has vowed to live a good life during his six-day monkhood before returning to work and continuing to bring happiness to his fans and the public.
