It was a shocking and frightening event when the young woman “Bua Sarocha” the younger sister of “Beam Kavi” came forward to recount an incident where a man dressed in black broke into the house late at night. Authorities found a weapon in his bag. Recently, “Beam Kavi” was found and “Oil Atiporn” his sister-in-law, shared the story, saying that initially, they learned about the incident from a group chat message showing a police officer holding something. They thought it might be a staged or AI-generated content, but the next morning they realized it was real. Someone had climbed into “Bua”’s house, even entering the bedroom and opening the door. “Bua” was seen crying because she was alone in the bedroom at the time; her husband Tum was not home and was on his way back. It was around 11 PM, not very late. “Bua” has poor eyesight and initially thought the person opening the door was her husband. She heard a man's voice speaking incomprehensibly. When she looked, she saw a face but couldn't identify who it was. Reviewing the security footage confirmed someone was inside the house. “Bua” cried out of shock because if she hadn’t closed the door, it could have been very dangerous.
They believe the intruder was likely intoxicated rather than a criminal because he did not harm anyone or take anything. The exact purpose of his entry is still unknown. It was reported that he climbed into several nearby houses. The whole house is covered by CCTV, capturing every moment of the intruder’s entry. Going forward, they advise caution, especially about closing doors properly. While it’s possible to climb into the garden, allowing someone to enter the main house is very risky. They suggest reminding household members to lock doors carefully and possibly install digital locks that automatically engage once the door closes.
From now on, extra caution is needed when opening house doors. Sometimes, familiarity with the neighborhood can cause people to be lax about locking their bedroom or front door, especially in communities where neighbors know each other and no incidents have occurred before. This complacency can create vulnerabilities. Therefore, everyone aware of “Bua”’s incident should remain vigilant, even if they currently feel safe.
