5 Charges Prosecutors Will File Against Min Peechaya and Sam Yuranan in The Icon Case

Previously, prosecutors from Special Case Division 1 scheduled the indictment. Min Peechaya Wattana Montri, , and Sam Yuranan Phamonmontri, two famous actors accused of jointly defrauding the public in The Icon Group case, had requested to postpone their meeting with prosecutors from 26 March to 27 March.

At 08:30 on 27 March 2026 GMT+7, Sam Yuranan, accompanied by his son and legal counsel, arrived at the Office of the Attorney General to meet with prosecutors from Special Case Division 1 at the Ratchadaphisek Road office.

Then at 09:30, Min Peechaya Wattana Montri arrived at the Criminal Court with her family and lawyers. Today's meeting with prosecutors is a crucial step that will determine whether the court accepts the charges.

Min and Sam face five charges in total, which are:

1. Jointly defrauding the public.

2. Jointly, by deceit or fraud, inputting into a computer system data that is distorted or false in whole or in part, or false computer data likely to cause damage to the public.

3. Jointly borrowing money through fraudulent means against the public.

4. Jointly conducting a direct sales business, operating a direct marketing business, and running activities that recruit individuals into a network business promising benefits calculated from the increasing number of network participants, in violation of the law.

5. Jointly operating a direct sales business without a license.

Following this, prosecutors from Special Case Division 1 will file charges against both defendants at the Criminal Court. Once the court accepts the case, the two defendants may request bail. If bail is denied, they will be sent to prison as per legal procedures.
