After the special case prosecutor scheduled the filing of charges, Min Peechaya Wattanamontri, and Sam Yuranan Phamornmontri, two well-known actors accused in the D'Icon Group fraud case, requested to postpone their meeting with the prosecutor from 26 March 2026 to 27 April 2026.
On 27 April 2026 at 08:30, Sam Yuranan, accompanied by his son and legal counsel, arrived at the Office of the Attorney General to meet the special case prosecutor at the Special Case Prosecutor's Office 1 on Ratchadaphisek Road.
Meanwhile, Min Peechaya arrived at the Ratchada Criminal Court at 09:30 with her family and lawyers. She had short hair and wore dark sunglasses. Her expression was neutral, and she did not avoid the media but greeted reporters with a raised hand without making any statements before entering the courthouse.
After Min Peechaya and Sam Yuranan met the special case prosecutor, reporters later reported that at 14:10 at the Ratchada Criminal Court, bail was granted to Sam Yuranan and Min Peechaya at 1 million baht each, with the condition that they are prohibited from leaving the kingdom unless permitted.
The court considered that the prosecutor had previously declined to prosecute defendants 1 and 2, and they were released. Subsequently, the prosecutor filed charges against defendants 1 and 2 under the same case and accusations in this current case, so the case still has points for defense.
Furthermore, defendants 1 and 2 appeared at the court as scheduled for the filing of charges, with no indications of fleeing or interfering with evidence. The prosecutor did not oppose temporary release.
Therefore, although this court had previously denied temporary release during the investigation, given the changed circumstances, the court found reasonable grounds to allow temporary release of defendants 1 and 2 during trial. Due to many victims and the high value of damages, bail was set at 1 million baht each as a guarantee, and travel abroad was prohibited without permission. Authorities were also instructed to notify immigration police.
