Regarding the hot news about leaked messages in an open chat group of fans of Lincoln Bui the young model and contestant from The Face Men Thailand Season 4, team #TEAMPANDA, mentored by Pancake Khemanit and Ananda Everingham, stating, “His girlfriend... came and slapped Lincoln after the after-party, but he has already gone to the hospital.”
Lincoln then clarified via the open chat as well, saying it was just a minor misunderstanding with nothing serious, that he was fine, and thanked everyone for their concern. Recently, Tae Piyarat Kanjaruek the big boss of The Face Men Thailand, attended the premiere of the film “The Devil Wears Prada 2” at Fashion Hall, 1st floor, Siam Paragon. Reporters asked him about the incident.
Asked about the after-party drama?
“As the young man said, it has been cleared up and finished. There's nothing to hold a grudge about. We don’t feel there was much to it. At the same time, if it happened on our premises, we are ready to manage it if they want us to, but today they need to discuss it themselves first. It’s not our business. We want it to end. Maybe, as he said, it’s just a misunderstanding. I don’t want it to be talked about endlessly because it could just cause bigger misunderstandings.”
Did you know about the incident immediately after it happened?
“I’m not sure if it was immediately, but I was at the event and someone informed me. Honestly, I wasn’t a witness. I know everyone who works with us well, and I don’t want to take sides. It’s something they have to talk through. From what I know, they spoke yesterday, and as he said, everything is okay and cleared up. So that’s that. I don’t want this to be talked about further and turn into something else because we are adults who should have settled this by now.”
Have you talked with them?
“Yes, we talked to coordinate and understand what happened (acting as a mediator?). Yes, something like that, since we are the agency and the venue owner. If both parties want us to help manage the situation, we are ready to coordinate. We have coordinated to some extent, and as far as I know, they have talked and he announced it’s over. So, it should be over.”
Do you think it affects the image? The event seemed to end well on Saturday, but the issue arose on Monday?
“Exactly. But why? You see, there was nothing really. It’s a bit puzzling how this became public and why. We already talked it through. But it’s okay. I don’t think there will be any issue. I don’t want it to be discussed further because it’s already settled.”
Can you confirm everything has been resolved?
“As the young man said, they talked and everything is finished. It should have ended days ago. I still find it strange that it became an issue again. Whoever hasn’t settled it yet, I’m too tired and don’t want to get involved because it’s really not our business.”
Does it affect you emotionally since you work very professionally?
“Oh, thank you very much (smiles and hands in a respectful gesture). I’m a professional worker, sometimes less so (smiles). I have emotions; I’m just a normal human. But honestly, I don’t feel anything because it happened during a time everyone was happy. Tae was happy.
Because the after-final walk party was a moment of release. We worked together for many months, the audience was happy and joyful. That’s all I felt. Whatever happened, I wasn’t involved. I think if it was a misunderstanding, they would have talked it through maturely. It should have ended.”
How will this affect future collaboration? Will there be problems working together?
“None. Tae confirms this incident is not an obstacle to working together. The incident doesn’t affect the work. However, Tae has to assess and analyze the reactions from everyone involved. From what he knows, everyone is mature enough to resolve and understand each other. If not, then we might need to reconsider why and how to resolve it. I still want to work with everyone. It depends on what happens next. Let’s hope this is the end.”
