Kai Janjuang, a luk thung singer, opened up on social media about her illness and current life after some netizens commented on her changed appearance, especially her shaved head and not wearing a wig during performances.
She stated that side effects from her treatment cause her body temperature to be much higher than normal. Wearing a wig makes her uncomfortable and creates difficulties, so she decided to live naturally by shaving her head and dressing in whatever feels most comfortable.
She shared a message to society that having cancer is not a matter of karma as many mistakenly believe but a disease that can affect anyone. She appealed to netizens to be considerate in their comments and avoid making remarks that hurt patients’ feelings. If they cannot offer support, she asked them not to add to the burden.
