How did you first meet?
Wave Sarin: While others call it destiny or fate, for us it felt like being pushed by vengeful spirits.
Bung Baiyok: Like rotten ghosts and decayed coffins or something like that.
Wave Sarin: I knew her but didn’t realize she was a hotel owner, so I wasn’t concerned and thought she was joking.
How did you react when you found out?
Wave Sarin: My first thought was, "Oh crap," because it's such a big difference!!
When did your family start to know?
Bung Baiyok: About a month in, he came to say hello to my parents.
And naturally, as the family's most protected daughter?
Bung Baiyok: My mother seemed to watch carefully, wondering if he would hurt me. My father is quiet; before the wedding, he was like a friend to me. On the wedding day, he was called Dave and no one knew his real name. Only my older brother, Beer, was very strict; we didn’t talk for about one or two years.
Was there a time when Bung was very attached to Wave?
Wave Sarin: Before marriage and before having children.
Bung Baiyok: Very attached, loved him so much, confused myself, loved him a lot.
Wave Sarin: She had to call me every 15 to 30 minutes.
If you didn’t answer, would Bung come to find you?
Wave Sarin: Sometimes if I answered, she’d be right there.
Did you have any serious fights?
Wave Sarin: Yes, we had some intense fights.
Bung Baiyok: Now I’ve become a superwoman, not depending on him, which isn’t good.
Have you started to be able to be alone?
Bung Baiyok: Yes.
From being so attached and always together, it turned into feeling nauseous just at the sight of him?
Wave Sarin: That was because of our fights. I tend to raise my voice and can’t stop myself.
Bung Baiyok: He threw things at me, which caused panic and led to depression. I would feel nauseous, have difficulty breathing, and tremble. When it rained, I was scared because once the rain caused a leak and he got irritated, and I didn’t know what to do. Recently, he got angry suddenly for no reason.
