Dax ROCK RIDER Fires Back! Concert Organizer Requests Deposit Refund, Causing Lost Work Opportunities

It became a hot topic online when young singer Dax Ekkarat Wongchalard , known as Dax ROCK RIDER, posted a fiery message on his fan page DAX ROCK RIDER about a concert booking agent, saying: “If my gigs go through K..., I won’t accept them. I’m not comfortable working together. Thank you.”

He then commented under the post with a screenshot of a Line chat showing proof of a money transfer, writing: “Cancel all bookings, clear.” He also commented: “Not comfortable working together because our lifestyles don’t match. This is my way of ending things amicably.” And, “For any remaining gigs, I’m willing to do them as agreed.”

Later, Dax ROCK RIDER posted again in anger, stating: “On 16 April 2026, you collected a deposit of 82,000 baht / You sent a 20,000 baht booking deposit, then the event was postponed. You informed me 10 days before the event, and today you’re asking for that 20,000 baht deposit back. I lost that date for free xxxxxxxx, but you got 82,000 baht. What’s going on here? xxx”

He added another comment: “xxxxxxxxx Does this shop have a booking on 25 June for DAX ROCKRIDER?” and posted a Line chat screenshot stating: “I transferred to you xxx twice: 50,000 baht (23 Dec) and 32,000 baht (24 Dec), totaling 82,000 baht.”

He wrote a harsh message: “Collected 82,000 baht deposit in December, then booked a slot without a deposit. About 10 days before the event, you told me the event couldn’t happen due to issues and requested a postponement. You transferred 20,000 baht deposit to my manager (but I lost the date on 16 April). Now that I said I’m not comfortable working together, you want that 20,000 baht deposit back. So, I lost the 16 April date, but you still have 82,000 baht. I don’t understand this.”

The concert organizer involved replied in the comments: “At first, I was looking for a new date and held the deposit to secure a booking. But since you’re no longer working with us, I don’t know where to schedule you. So I have to refund the deposit and will transfer it back to the broker. Holding or postponing a booking is normal when a concert can’t happen. Since you’re not working with us, I can’t secure dates for other promoters, so I have to cancel your bookings.” Dax responded: “This is a long story.”

The organizer further commented: “I’ve talked with broker xxx.” Dax briefly asked: “Where is the 82,000 baht?” The organizer replied: “Split with the coordinator, half each, since the event didn’t happen and we couldn’t find a new date because you’re not comfortable working with us.” Dax then posted a Line chat screenshot asking: “Split with whom?” The organizer answered: “I settled with broker xxx. You can ask broker xxx yourself.”

This issue sparked hundreds of comments and critiques from fans and netizens alike.
