Recently, JJ and Ta-Ning have publicly confirmed that they have indeed broken up by issuing a statement through their joint company, stating that

Hello, first of all, we both want to honestly inform that originally we did not intend to speak publicly about this matter because we consider it a sensitive issue for both of us and difficult to explain for everyone to understand. Also, the future is unpredictable for us both. However, given the current widespread discussion of this matter, we believe that direct communication from us is the most appropriate.
Regarding the rumors spreading in society and on social media about our personal relationship, we confirm that we have now reduced our relationship status and remain good friends.
As for past interviews of ours that have been re-released and analyzed, we confirm that those interviews only reflect experiences and stories from the past 10 years and are not reasons for this decision at all.
