However, people still ask, “Why do you go every year?” to which Chompoo responded,
“I don’t have any idea about taking a break because I feel like I see myself in a version... Since it happens at the same timing and place every year, when I look back at each year, it feels like a landmark—a point where I can see how much I’ve changed or how far I’ve come. It’s something I’ve done and can do this year, compared to the first year. I feel happy and still enjoy it.”
If asked why I’m still going, I think it’s not really a question anymore because honestly, anyone can go, right? We see many people attending. So, if you ask why I get to go, I don’t think that’s much of a question. But if you ask why I continue, it might be because of the image, that it’s ongoing.
Why do I keep doing it? From a business perspective, in terms of numbers, it still gives back to me, to my field, and to my profession. Overall, the project still benefits us. (Do brands and sponsors still trust you?) Yes, somewhat. I still have some support.”
