Noom Kongkapan Clears Up! Links to Ajarn Kae Gam Allegations Denied Affirms Taking Mek Winai for Treatment, Never Entered Private Room

A major news story broke when a 32-year-old businessman filed a complaint with the Saimai Tong Rod page alleging he was sexually abused three times by a renowned northern fortune teller. The abuse was claimed to be part of a treatment and karmic remedy. This teacher is famous for claiming communication with heaven and hell and has many celebrity disciples. The victim is preparing to file a police report with the Crime Suppression Division.

The story escalated when it was revealed that several famous celebrities had sought karmic remedies from this teacher, including the names of Noom Kongkapan and Mek Winai Kraibutr . Many were shocked and wondered if Noom Kongkapan was also a victim.

Recently, Thairath Entertainment contacted Noom Kongkapan to inquire about this matter. He responded that

people were surprised and thought Noom Kongkapan was also abused?

"Actually, regarding the story about the karmic remedy teacher, our intention was mainly to help brother Mek (Winai Kraibutr). He had tried every treatment and method—various medicines, injections, Russian treatments, herbal remedies—but nothing worked. We saw his suffering. I’ve known about this teacher for many decades, so I thought of taking Mek there.

At least this teacher’s method involves forgiveness rituals, no injections, no medicine, no ingesting anything harmful. It’s simply paying respects, making merit, and forgiving. So I tried it for my dear friend. That’s how we ended up meeting the teacher. Personally, even though I went several times, I never asked him to check my karmic debts or enemies. I told him I didn’t need to; my life was fine."

Were you shocked by the news linking you and Mek Winai to this?

"Not shocked. I see it as a karmic consequence and a personal matter, a matter of personal preference. I don’t want to intrude or comment on that. As for me, I went only to help Mek. The teacher hosts hundreds of visitors and is well known. Importantly, he never demands money; visitors donate what they can. He seems charitable and willing to help others.

We hoped for a miracle for Mek. Even if it didn’t work, it was merit-making and paying respects, not risky or harmful."

"I was surprised by the news too, and I don’t know what to say. That matter must be handled legally. When I went, there was no ritual like that—just a large crowd waiting in line. The teacher told us to pay respects at various places; no one was asked to enter any secret rooms."

What message do you want to share with those following this news?

"Today I’ve been filming all day. Afterward, I’ll read the news and follow developments. I believe the teacher should clarify things. I haven’t visited him for years, only when I took Mek there."

Can you confirm Noom Kongkapan was not involved in anything inappropriate, as some have misunderstood?

"I took Mek there but never asked about any karmic debts or such. I didn’t know anything about that, and Mek didn’t do anything like that either. I only just heard the news myself. The teacher should explain. I don’t know."
