Annie Brook Shocked! Opens Unexpired Canned Fish and Finds Strange White Spots, Asks What They Are (Video)

Recently, there has been a heated issue regarding poor-quality canned fish, causing many consumers to become alarmed, including the actress. Annie Brook who hurried to check the canned fish she had stocked up on, only to find something that left her shocked.

On Facebook, Annie Brook posted a video opening a canned fish that was still within its expiry date but found white spots scattered throughout the fish flesh. She wrote, “Bought a pack of 10 cans, and all look like this. Can I eat it? What is this? Why is the whole pack like this? One pack has 10 cans; the first 4 opened look like this, so I threw them away. I saw the canned fish news and checked the other 6 cans, and they look the same as the first 4. I’ve poured them into a bowl and covered it with plastic wrap. I want to know if it’s safe to eat because I stocked up on them. What could this be?” She also confirmed that the cans opened had not yet expired.

Looking at the comments, many netizens shared their opinions, such as: “Are those fine fish scales? Some brands include scales. I’ve seen it before. Canned fish is pickled; even the bones are soft.” “In the North, it’s called 'maeng noon kai khang,' or in central Thai, 'fly eggs.' Throw it away; it can cause stomach upset.” “Are the white shiny scales loose from the fish pieces?” “I’m wary of canned fish dishes lately.” “Those are fish fat globules, safe to eat. If you gently scrape the fish skin, you’ll find them beneath parts that don’t float out. Warm them slightly, and they’ll melt. This happens with fatty fish, depending on species, fish size, and fishing location.”
