Previously, this became a topic of great interest when Denis Jelilcha Kappun the actress from the film “Thi Yod” decided to file a police report after being harassed by a keyboard troll for over 3 years, starting from when she began her film career. “Thi Yod” the first installment, especially regarding the wildly speculative issue linking her as a third party in the relationship of “Nadetch-Yaya,” which was said to have delayed their marriage. Recently, upon meeting Denis, she opened up about the matter, saying
“Actually, there’s nothing to the story, everyone. We just feel that if we don’t stand up for ourselves or do something, they won’t stop. They have been doing this to me for 3 years now. Normally, as actors, we get many comments and don’t pay much attention, but this has gone on for quite a while and even involved references to my parents. So, I felt it was not nice and had to do something to make them stop.”
Are all the comments from the same person?
“Yes, just one person. So I thought it was enough already, Mom. Also, I don’t want it to affect him (Nadetch) because I respect both of them a lot, especially during this important time for him. Honestly, I didn’t want this to become news or a big issue.”
When did these kinds of comments start appearing?
“Wow! Probably since the first ‘Thi Yod’ movie, almost 3 years ago. For me, that’s a long time. Wherever my face appears, there are comments referencing him (Nadetch) sometimes, but mostly they directly attack me, saying things like that’s why I have no work, that kind of vibe. I feel some of it is harsh and affects me mentally a bit. I don’t want the elders to see this either. There were even comments cursing my parents.”
Which message made you decide to file a police report?
“Because people around me started asking who this person was and why they kept attacking me so much. I felt I hadn’t done anything wrong and usually don’t get involved with anyone. I didn’t expect to have anti-fans like this. So, I thought I had to do something because they were causing trouble in many places.”
Regarding the messages involving him (Nadetch), did you see all the comments?
“Actually, I didn’t see all of them because some I avoided reading since it’s been so long. But most of the comments that affected me emotionally were directed at me and my parents. The ones about him weren’t many.”
Do you know why they thought you were involved with Nadetch?
“I really don’t know. I’ve heard this person has done this to others as well—many who have worked with him probably experienced it too. I’m not sure whose fan they are. Behind the scenes, some fans have sent me quite a lot of information, including fans of mine who’ve investigated on X (Twitter). So, I have a rough idea who they are. (Are they a fan of Nadetch?) I guess they like him. If they truly loved him, they wouldn’t behave like this.”
Do you have evidence now?
“I have a pretty good idea now. (Are they older?) Yes, older. It was shocking to find out they are about my mother’s age. It hurt me. You know, that’s why I don’t want to have any further dealings with them.”
Did you file the report just to stop them or to take legal action?
“I actually filed just to make them stop. After I reported, they went quiet and disappeared. I’m not pursuing further because, honestly, there’s nothing to the story. I just want them to stop this behavior and not disturb him either. They are quite old. Is it difficult for me? Yes. I can’t imagine if I took it to the highest legal level and then they had to come apologize to me. I think this is enough—just to make them realize that this behavior is not acceptable.
