Pin Lerlak Confident: If She Loses Lawsuit to Tom Ratchaneekorn, She Will Pay 50 Million Baht If She Wins, Plans to Sue Back for 100 Million

After actress Tom Ratchaneekorn Phanmani filed a lawsuit against Lerlak Hospital seeking damages over 50 million baht, claiming the hospital performed faulty surgery that damaged her face and affected her daily life.

On 12 May 2026 at 9:00 a.m., at Nonthaburi Provincial Court, a verdict hearing was scheduled for this case, where Pin Pisapan Srichaiyan owner of Lerlak Hospital, also known to many as Pin Lerlak, along with Krit Samutkota, her lawyer, attended to hear the verdict. However, Tom Ratchaneekorn did not appear in person and sent her lawyer instead.

Afterwards, Pin Lerlak and lawyer Krit spoke to the media. Krit revealed that the verdict was postponed to 6 Aug 2026 because additional documents were submitted after the witness examination. The court has yet to issue a verdict because, upon receiving the documents—which were translations of existing evidence—the court allowed the defendant to file objections. Today's session was to notify the postponement and accept objections, with a new verdict date set. Krit personally believes this will not affect the outcome.

Meanwhile, Pin Lerlak stated she is quite confident she will not lose, as she did nothing wrong. The doctors acted properly; they wanted to help Tom, who had suffered multiple issues, to be happy. They acted in good faith. She is confident because Tom has no physical damage.

The medical evidence examined three months ago, including CT scans, showed no nerve damage causing numbness. Despite social media coverage, Tom continues normal life and can sing. However, Tom sues for many damages. Pin finds the late submission of documents confusing, believing they should have been submitted earlier, but she is not worried.

When asked if she would counter-sue if she wins, Pin said she would consider it. She has never sued any patient before, but Tom has caused her tens of millions in damages by undermining trust in both the hospital and doctors. There were requests for deposit refunds, and explanations were ignored because social media backlash was strong. She wants to review the matter first.

Asked how she would sue if she did, Pin said she would claim damages. Tom is suing for 50 million baht; if Pin loses, she is ready to pay 50 million baht in cash. But if she sues back, she needs to assess the damage and consult her lawyer. If she wins, she plans to counter-sue for over 100 million baht. When asked about the overall damage, she confirmed it exceeds 50 million baht due to months of impact, economic downturn, and strong competition causing severe effects.

Asked what she would do if she lost, Pin said she is prepared to pay the 50 million baht but will seek ways to restore the hospital's reputation and patient confidence. She said if she loses, she can appeal and will fight to the end.

Pin Lerlak admitted that since the lawsuit with Tom Ratchaneekorn became public, she experienced a cash flow shortage for a while and had to work harder, improve marketing, and do everything possible. After nearly two years, the situation has started to improve. She also firmly stated the hospital has been operating for over 27 years with proper licensing from the Ministry of Public Health, and all doctors undergo thorough screening and background checks before practicing.
