The National Assembly for the Promotion of Morality and Culture (NAPMC), led by Dr. Kanthana Soncharoen as chairperson and the committee, together with the "We Uphold the Five Precepts" club and a group of volunteer artists led by Dr. Nui Kessarin Aekthawatchakul, collaborated to organize a socially beneficial activity. This event promotes morality, culture, and the continuation of Buddhism under the project "Wrapping the Sacred Relic to Enhance Merit and Promote Buddhism 2026." They invited artists, singers, actors, entertainers, and the general public to participate by offering monk robes, Sangha donations, practicing meditation, and wrapping the Golden Mount Stupa.
The event began with the project chair lighting incense and candles. The emcee explained the event's origins and purpose. The ceremony to offer the monk robes (with sponsors including Peach Supitchaya Paitoon, owner of Phetpichaya Market and managing director of Phetwadee Construction Co., Ltd., Honey Napak Mutthasathien, and Mathorn Thammaachirakul) was conducted, followed by offerings of Sangha donations and other religious items. Monks expressed blessings, water was poured for merit, and the emcee led participants in meditation and mental dedication as a Buddhist offering to the Lord Buddha and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
Next, the senior monk delivered a sermon and sprinkled holy water blessings on the organizers, actors, and attendees. Those present included Patthama Panthong, producer of the boys’ love series “Forbidden Love Files” from Noonam Studio; teacher Minc Penjan Wongsomphet, a devotional director; actors from the series such as Nutter Thanaphum Chumphon, Mek Thanawin Harnpanich, Tiger Patthapon Pinyotheerachot, and Prai Pannavee Tangkam; child actor Ton Nam Tharathip Kanjanasrison from the drama “Ohm Praya Fai” on Channel 7HD; along with Mae Rose Thananan Kaewphuang, Naval Lieutenant Santi Kaewphuang, Joy Beyond, and Nongnuch Piromruen from the series “Kastithan” on Amarin TV; Aum Rat Rimteerakul, Pichairat Wichianmunya, Nichada Damat, owner of Evil Eye World at JJ Mall, Papon Panyaworakorn, Phomrawan Khuppenwijit from the Wat Saket souvenir shop, Buppha Kumsrisa (Kai Lek), and Mae Khaek Siripatsorn Modorn.
Afterward, a group photo was taken as a memento, followed by a performance of the Nora dance dedicated to the Golden Mount Stupa by children from the Sunday Buddhist Center at Ratchathiwat Temple. The participants then formed a procession to carry the cloth up to the Golden Mount Stupa, circumambulated it three times, and collectively wrapped the stupa.
