M STUDIO Kicks Off Cannes Debut! BamBam, Alek, and Denis Lead The Confession of the Shaman

M STUDIO officially launched its significant mission on the world film stage at the 2026 Cannes International Film Festival in Cannes, France. Leading the team were BamBam, known as Kunpimuk Phuwakoon, along with Alek Theeradej Methawarayut and Denis Jelischa Kappun. Also present were Surachet Asawareunganon, CEO of M STUDIO, and Ton Natthanon Chollumpi, director of "The Confession of the Shaman," to begin promoting this Thai film to media and film industry professionals worldwide.


The first day was filled with lively energy from early morning, as the team and actors participated in an official discussion alongside the Ministry of Culture before heading to the Thailand Pavilion opening ceremony, which attracted continuous attention from foreign media and attendees.


After the opening ceremony, lead actors BamBam, Alek, and Denis shared their feelings about being part of bringing Thai cinema to the global stage, along with their commitment to promoting Thai films internationally.


BamBam expressed, "I feel very honored to be part of a Thai film showcased on the global stage at the Cannes Film Festival. For me, this is more than just a film's journey; it's an important step for the Thai film industry to show the world the potential and charm of Thai cinema."


Alek Theeradej shared his excitement: "I’m very thrilled because this is one of my first times experiencing the atmosphere of a world-class film festival up close. Seeing people from many countries gathered by their shared love of film is very special. I’m glad to be part of the team for ‘The Confession of the Shaman’ bringing Thai cinema to the eyes of the world."


Denis Jelischa reflected on coming to Cannes: "Arriving here, I feel both excited and proud because this is a stage that filmmakers worldwide dream of.
