Ingfa Clears Up Bathroom Barrier Drama: Warns Against Overstepping Comments, Says Agency Wont Sue but She Will

Regarding the controversy where a netizen posted, “I saw Ingfa Waraha leaving a restaurant with guards. I was heading to the bathroom and tried to pass on the right because I needed to go urgently, but the guard blocked me with his arms, saying he was also going to the bathroom. So, is the bathroom exclusively for celebrities? Are the public not allowed to use it? This is ridiculous.”

. Ingfa Waraha has posted a clarification, stating, “I want to explain because my name was mentioned directly. First, I apologize on behalf of the guard team. Normally, when artists attend events, guards are assigned for their protection due to frequent unexpected stalker incidents. In normal life, without events, guards are unnecessary. Regarding this incident, I recall no one entered the bathroom. It may have been a misunderstanding. Leaving the restaurant was just to take the elevator to go home, which might have been the same route. Normally, we use the regular bathroom. If such an incident had occurred, there would have been warnings. I apologize for any confusion.”

Recently, Ingfa attended the “KAZZ AWARDS 2026” ceremony and again addressed the matter, saying, “Actually, I’ve already clarified everything. It seems to be a misunderstanding about intentions. I personally didn’t witness the event, so I don’t know exactly what happened. When it escalated, the management asked if I wanted to review CCTV footage for the facts. I felt that wasn’t necessary because they worried I might get stressed since the issue kept shifting from just about the bathroom to something bigger.”

It’s no longer just about the bathroom; it’s become a bigger issue?

“Yes, it turned into a bigger matter, but I didn’t enter the bathroom. The first misunderstanding was why guards were present when we only went out for a meal. That was the first point of confusion. The second was the idea that the bathroom is a privilege exclusive to celebrities, that others can’t enter with them.

I feel the first point to clarify is that on that day, we didn’t just go out to eat. The whole cast had an event and just stopped to have a meal. Normally, guards aren’t needed, and people can meet me freely. I enter bathrooms normally too.

I understand the guards’ role because when stalkers appear, the guards are responsible. Whether it’s secret filming in bathrooms or fans getting too close to artists, they do their job fully. I’ve had fans ask to take pictures or TikToks in bathrooms; if I’m not too uncomfortable, I allow it. So, I understand it’s not a big issue.”

Why choose to explain multiple times?

“(Laughs) Some netizens might have to face celebrities like me. If they want the truth, they must accept it. Normally, I rarely respond to small issues. I’m not very responsive and often just let things go. But this became a widespread topic affecting my team and clients who were uncomfortable. The management was concerned, and since the issue kept evolving, it could harm my image if I didn’t defend myself. No one can protect me but me.”

How do you feel about the guards and their company also explaining?

“Both the guards and the company confirmed their good intentions, saying they didn’t block bathroom access but may have politely requested cooperation. I wasn’t present, so I can’t judge. They even offered to review CCTV footage if I wanted to know the truth.”

Are you worried that people unaware won’t know the truth?

“I’m not concerned about the poster anymore; I just want a chance to explain. (After I spoke, it got linked to various people?) I think praising anyone is great, and I support that. I just ask people to consider the context because false messages get widely seen.

As the artist named Ingfa Waraha, if I don’t take action, who will? I’m the one accused. Some people agree, some don’t. Those who choose not to understand never will, so I have to let it go.”

It’s no longer just fan groups opposing each other. I see outsiders supporting a middle ground, saying, “Hey, this is the truth if you look without bias.” That makes me feel reassured there are netizens who truly understand. If you set aside feelings for the artists and just look objectively, it’s clear something was off.

But as for me and other artists, there’s no problem because we’re always friendly when we meet. Working in this industry involves more. I think caring about feelings and clearing misunderstandings through communication is best, especially since I’m older and see them like younger siblings.”

People linked this to other beauty pageant contestants, but they concluded that for this event, it had to be Ingfa only. How do you feel about being singled out?

“Actually, that phrase made me a bit hurt. I was already tired from work that day, and waking up to that post, which had over a million views, made me think, ‘What is this?’ The others like Michelle, Kachabel, and Charlotte reached out asking how to respond so people wouldn’t misunderstand.”

Personally, I felt hurt because the comment suggested many entered the bathroom but only named me, even though I was just standing by the elevator. So, what does all this have to do with me? (Laughs) Nothing. After this passed, I realized many things.”

How do you feel about having the chance to explain, since many thought you shouldn’t have to?

“It depends on each person’s willingness to understand. I feel I’ve done my best and proven my innocence by responding to everything. I have no intention to be angry or hateful toward anyone. I just look at the middle ground and act appropriately.”

Many liked your statement that if you went to a mall casually, you wouldn’t need guards watching you.

“Yes, sometimes I have no guards if it’s not a big event. But I want the public to know that artists need guards at certain events because fan numbers can be large, and we’ve faced many stalkers, some even threatening harm. It’s just a precaution.”

Have you ever encountered stalkers in the bathroom?

“Yes, I’ve experienced severe cases, including someone cutting their wrist in the bathroom. That incident made clients and others take responsibility from the start.”

So the matter is settled now?

“It’s cleared up, and I hope it’s over. I also warn my fans not to use rude language when responding to others, and I try to manage my fanbase.”

Will you take action?

“Yes, if some accounts misuse my image, voice, or name, we will definitely address it directly.”

Some rumors say you will sue—is that true?

“The agency isn’t suing, but I will. The agency may be more patient, but I have to act. (Do you choose which comments yourself?) Sometimes fans block or delete posts before I see, but some fans capture and send me the links promptly.”
