Weng Thep Leela Apologizes to Sai Scott After Hearing Audio Clip, Vows to Take Legal Action Against Online Harassment Targeting His Child

Regarding the drama involving siblings Pai Sunit Scott and Sai Scott which is currently being widely discussed in society, recently Weng Thep Leela or Weng Phusanat Karunwongwat a famous YouTuber, owner of the Thep Leela channel and the Little Monster family page, posted an apology for liking Pai Sunit's clip.

Weng wrote, “Regarding the drama about liking the clip, please allow me to explain from my perspective. I did like it, and my reason is similar to many others, but I add that as a father, and with the unclear situation, I felt sorry for the child in the womb—wondering how he will grow up with such events happening. So I liked the clip to encourage the mother.

After hearing the audio clip that Sai played, I could no longer keep the like because once I understood more, I absolutely could not support that video. That is why I immediately removed the like. I sincerely apologize to Sai, as what I did might have hurt her feelings. I do not side with or approve of any violence that has occurred.

Before the audio clip was released, I spoke with Took and my workplace about this. If the story is true, Sai deserves much sympathy for having endured this for years. How can she ever be happy again? I want to affirm that I do not support anything wrong and still sympathize with Sai. I hope she will be happier than before and also feel sorry for the child who is about to be born—may the world be kind to him.”

Following Weng's post, many people commented. However, one netizen made a threatening comment related to Weng’s child, writing, “Don’t say ‘if it’s true,’ because it is true. If you ignore it badly, if something happens to your own child one day, I’ll say you deserved it.” Weng did not remain silent; he took a screenshot of the comment and posted it, writing, “This comment is excessive. Don’t involve children!!!!!”

This post attracted many followers’ comments, such as “Thai police are skilled. Accounts like these must face real people to understand. Soon they’ll say it was a momentary lapse of judgment.” Weng replied, “I will try. Tomorrow I will start looking for this person.”
