The drama seems to have eased within less than two weeks for Nikki Nachat Chanthaphan. After he went to file a complaint at the Technology Crime Suppression Division on 8 May 2026 against a person who posted insults about his parents following his interview about the Red Devils football match, he recently spoke to the media on 18 May 2026 to provide an update on the matter.
“Right now, we're waiting for the police to summon the suspect for questioning. Actually, I know who did it and have their full address. The person hasn’t contacted me at all, I haven’t seen anything from them. Honestly, I feel a bit guilty too. I reported it because I was lonely. Before, I used to get many annoying and insulting messages, but now there’s none, so it feels strangely lonely. After the complaint became news, many friends in the industry reached out. Honestly, if someone insults me, I can handle it, but this went too far because I think my mom is beautiful. She has spent hundreds of thousands (laughs). If the suspect apologizes, would I withdraw the complaint? We’ll have to wait and see.”
