After the well-known comedian Sang Dok Sadao or Mr. Mee Sakol, aged 63, passed away at 04:42 a.m. on 18 May 2026 at Chaophraya Yommarat Hospital in Suphanburi Province, leaving family members, fellow comedians, and fans deeply saddened.
The family announced they would keep the comedian's body at Chaophraya Yommarat Hospital temporarily, waiting for relatives to arrive together before taking the body for religious rites at U Thong Temple in Khok Kram Subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma District, Suphanburi Province.
Most recently, on 19 May 2026 at 9:00 a.m., Mrs. Karaket Sakol, 64, the wife, and Ms. Kasorn Sakol, 36, the daughter of Sang Dok Sadao, along with relatives, went to collect the body at Chaophraya Yommarat Hospital.
Ms. Kasorn, the daughter, revealed that while traveling to the hospital, she felt her father’s presence with her, experiencing chills throughout. However, he did not appear in her dreams. She expressed a wish for him to appear in her dreams, saying she missed him and wanted to see him. She recalled that when he was alive, they might have had some disagreements, and she hoped he might be coming to reconcile.
After receiving the body, the family planned to proceed to U Thong Temple in Khok Kram Subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma District, Suphanburi Province, to conduct the religious ceremonies, with the water-pouring ritual scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
