After the famous comedian Sang Dok Sadao or Mr. Mee Sakon, aged 63, peacefully passed away at Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital in Suphanburi Province, the family including Mrs. Karaket Sakon, aged 64, his wife, as well as Ms. Ketsorn Sakon, aged 36, his daughter, arrived with relatives to receive the body at the hospital.
Recently, the family moved Sang Dok Sadao’s body to U-Thong Temple in Khok Kram Subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma District, Suphanburi Province. The comedian’s body was placed in the temple hall to prepare for the water-pouring funeral ceremony scheduled at 3:00 PM. Upon unveiling the white cloth covering the body, his daughter wept heavily and embraced her mother, then hugged other relatives in deep sorrow.
Mr. Am Sakon, aged 60, Sang Dok Sadao’s younger brother, said that with his brother gone, only two sisters remain. He and another younger brother traveled to join the funeral. He shared that he frequently visited his brother, who was very loving and caring, especially toward him. When his brother was ill, he came to visit and saw improvement, but after leaving, his nephew called to tell him that his brother had passed away. He felt very sad and speechless, wishing his brother peace and liberation.
