After the renowned comedian Sang Doksada or Mee Sakon aged 63, passed away from cancer at 04:42 on 18 May 2026 at Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital. His family then held the funeral rites at U-Thong Temple in Suphan Buri Province on the morning of 19 May 2026.
Most recently, around 3:00 p.m., the water-pouring ceremony for Sang Doksada took place in a somber atmosphere. Numerous prominent comedians gathered to pay their respects, including Note Chernyim, Tua Rae Chernyim, as well as Ple Napat—daughter of Der Doksada—looked on, along with Lookkwang Pojanee Sripinyo, wife of Danny Sripinyo, and their daughter Eva. Many other comedians also attended the event.
Additionally, heartwarming moments were captured as well-known comedians came to support Kara Kes Sakon, Sang's wife, and Ketsorn Sakon, his daughter. They also provided financial assistance for the funeral expenses. A touching scene showed little Eva hugging Tua Rae Chernyim in greeting.
