The passing of "Sang Dok Sadao" or Mr. Mee Sakol aged 63, a comedian who peacefully died from cancer and ended treatment on 18 May,
has deeply saddened his family. The family arranged a Buddhist funeral chanting ceremony at U Thong Temple in Suphan Buri Province. The first night of chanting took place today (19 May 2026), with many comedian friends and colleagues paying their respects, including Note Chernyim, Tua Rae Chernyim, Jare Chernyim, Oba Siang Noe, President of the Comedian Association of Thailand, Ball Chernyim, Nok Boribun, Ple Napat (daughter of Der Dok Sadao), and many others.
