It became a sensational topic that surprised many when Namcha Cheeranat opened up about a strange past experience on the show "Cha" involving an alien abduction encounter, which she insists is 1000% true and happened more than ten years ago.
Is it true that Namcha was almost abducted by aliens?
“Before I tell the story, I want to say that many people might have various thoughts right now. I’m prepared for that because after I spoke about it, there were many comments—some I didn’t dare read because I felt paranoid. But that’s okay; I choose to be here and will share my story. What happened to me is 1000% true and took place more than ten years ago.”
You’ve never shared this publicly before?
“I once told a reporter a long time ago, but almost no one believed me—about 98% thought I was joking or trying to create a buzz. But I will tell you that I experienced it myself over ten years ago. It was quite a chilling experience, like an abduction feeling. There was a reason it happened—it’s a strange experience but with a cause.”
Some might doubt that someone like Namcha, a modern young woman, would suddenly say she was almost abducted?
“When I was young, I liked to meditate and study energy and crystals since I was 18 or 19 years old—not just recently when it became popular. I have been interested in these natural energy topics for a long time.”
Why did it happen? I didn’t just encounter it randomly. I chose to think about these things and study them, meditating very diligently for about a year. I meditated every morning for 10 to 15 minutes consistently until my mind felt very calm and light, like opening a window or a channel to receive something. At that time, I wasn’t thinking about aliens or UFOs—I just liked meditating.
One night, I was lying in my room normally when I suddenly felt unable to move. I had just come from singing and thought I was just tired. In Thai culture, this is called "phi am" or sleep paralysis, but I was conscious—I just couldn’t move. I thought it would pass because it had happened several times before.
But that night felt strange, like an electric current ran through my body. I heard some kind of wave sound in my ears, and a very bright flash filled the room, so bright I couldn’t see anything around me. Then I heard some strange sounds in my ears and a deep male voice speaking a language I couldn’t understand.
I caught the word “Abduction” about five or six times in my ear. That word means kidnapping literally, which scared me. I never thought this could happen to me. I focused my mind and prayed not to be taken away, to be allowed to stay, and not to be harmed. I communicated mentally in my own language.
Then the flashes gradually faded, and the room returned to normal darkness with the light off. Suddenly, I felt like I was slammed down onto the bed, as if floating and then hitting the mattress. I could move again and ran out of my bedroom to my mother, telling her I felt like aliens tried to abduct me. She asked if I was crazy and sent me back to bed. That night, I asked to sleep with her because I was too scared to sleep alone.
The next morning, I meditated again and set a timer on my old Nokia phone with a black and white screen, not a smartphone. Suddenly, strange symbols appeared all over the screen—numbers, letters, and symbols like @#$%฿&—not any recognizable language or number. I didn’t think much and answered a call, but there was no voice on the other end, so I hung up and continued meditating. Soon after, another call came in; I answered but again heard nothing. I began to feel suspicious, thinking maybe a friend was calling.
I called my phone provider to ask if anyone had called and from which country, in case I wanted to return the call. They said there was an incoming call but couldn’t identify its origin.
Was this an attempt to contact you again?
“I never thought such things could call me. After studying this, I learned that one way they communicate is by calling. After that experience, I stopped meditating for a year or two because I was afraid it would go too far.”
