She is an actress widely recognized as one of the leading talents in the entertainment industry. Baifern Pimchanok has won countless acting awards, but few would guess that before reaching this point, Baifern herself was once rejected for roles or suddenly replaced mid-project.
Recently, Baifern appeared on the YouTube show GoyNattyDream hosted by Goy, Natty, and Dream, where she was asked if she had ever felt burned out or lost passion for working in the entertainment industry.
Baifern said she has never experienced that, despite taking on very challenging roles. No matter how tired or discouraged she felt, she kept performing. When she was younger, she was even replaced mid-project. After going through casting and fittings for a film, she was told they wanted to change the lead actress. She couldn’t do anything and was heartbroken, but accepted it. Whatever the pay was, it was what it was. She just wanted to act. Her lowest pay was just 700 baht.
When asked how she manages her feelings when things don’t progress, Baifern explained she doesn’t dwell on it dramatically. She just thinks that if she can get at least one opportunity to perform, it will be so much fun. She looks beyond the setback instead of thinking, “I’m out, what now?” She focuses on not giving up or losing hope. She simply enjoys the moments she gets to act. Casting is worth it because if she gets to perform even once, that day will be incredibly joyful.
