Truly forever youthful and handsome, the Thai idol singer. "Nichkhun Horvejkul," member of 2PM. He recently returned to Thailand to participate in “KDay Bangkok 2026” at Siam Paragon and also held a warm meet-and-greet event with Thai fans after half a year.
He opened up about his life and shared behind-the-scenes excitement after 2PM just rocked a major concert at Tokyo Dome, Japan, and is preparing to tour in South Korea this August.
Did you have a meet-and-greet with fans as well?
"Yes, I came back in December last year and haven’t been this close to fans for a long time—half a year. I’m happy to see them. More fans came than I expected. I’m glad to meet them. My fans remain loyal as always; we are like a family now. Some have followed me for 19 years and still strongly support me, even coming to see my concert in Japan. I’m happy that our love remains like a family."
I heard the good news that 2PM is going to have a concert?
"Yes, we just had a concert at Tokyo Dome earlier this month. On August 8-9, we will have a concert in Korea with all six members. I must say this concert was the most exhausting I’ve ever performed. Not sure if it’s because of age, but we danced hard nonstop for 3.5 hours. When we first appeared on stage, I almost cried because nearly 40,000 fans came to see us, and we hadn’t met for a long time. After longing for 2-3 years, I’m glad all six of us reunited for this concert and the upcoming one in Korea."
Many say your energy never drops and you give your all?
"No drop at all. We always go all out and give 110% energy on stage every time."
You used the word 'longing' to express how much you miss the stage?
"Yes, each of us has been busy with our own work. It’s been three years since we last met. I’m happy we managed to schedule time for this and the next concert. I miss my friends. Usually, only two or three of us meet, but having all six together is rare and not easy. We are often working and flying around separately, so finding time to meet is difficult."
Will there be a 2PM concert in Thailand?
"I’d like to organize one, but I don’t know (laughs). I’m not sure if everyone’s schedules will align."
How was the feedback after announcing the 2PM concert in Korea?
"The cheers were thunderous. After the Tokyo Dome concert, they surprised us with a clip announcing the Korea concert. Everyone loved it. We’re happy that fans continue to wait, love, and support us all the time."
Does that give you more motivation?
"Yes, it makes me keep my look and stay healthy so I can be with fans longer. As we age, our energy drops faster, but if you look at Mr. J.Y. Park, he still dances like he’s in his twenties. We must learn a lot from him."
How do you currently take care of yourself?
"I try to exercise regularly, eat well, take vitamins, and get health check-ups appropriate for my age."
But Nichkhun still looks forever young?
"Thank you (smiles)."
Is the group excited? What do your friends say?
"Everyone is happy and having a lot of fun. We all miss performing as six. The day after the concert, we talked about wanting to keep performing like this and doing it often. We even talked casually about maybe releasing an album—just casual talk, not a spoiler. We miss working together as six. We laugh and sometimes argue, but we’ve been friends for 20 years. Being reunited and doing what we love for those who love us is wonderful. I’m glad to be with these five great friends who work hard and are very talented. We still have the energy and share the same goal: to be 2PM as six members."
Any updates on your work?
"Currently, there are projects we’re discussing but haven’t officially signed, so I can’t say more. I’m working a bit, resting, and exercising—a good balance for me now. I don’t want to work as hard as before when I was sleeping on planes. This is a good time for me, a balanced phase. After work, I go back to taking care of myself, exercising, and eating well."
How serious are you about exercising?
"Honestly, I don’t want to build a big muscular body. I exercise to keep my look and stay fit all the time."
A message for HOTTEST (2PM’s fan club)?
"My HOTTEST, I miss you a lot and thank you for coming today, for loving, waiting, and supporting me all along. I wish everyone good health and happiness. See you in August in Korea."
