Regarding Namtaan Pijakthana, she was born on 30 August 1991. She has two siblings, being the eldest daughter with one younger brother. She completed high school at Muang Khai Pittayakom School in Phrae Province and pursued her bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University.
She later withdrew and studied at the Faculty of Management Science, majoring in Communication Arts at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Due to insufficient class hours, she transferred to the Faculty of Communication Arts, majoring in Film and Video at Rangsit University in mid-2013 and graduated thereafter.
Regarding her entertainment career, while a first-year student at Chiang Mai University, Namtaan participated in the university's beauty and cheerleading contests, winning several beauty-related awards. These included the People's Favorite Award at the Miss CMU League pageant, the Fresh Face Award from Nitipol Clinic, and the Puriku Idol Award, leading to invitations for modeling and advertising work.
In 2012, Nong Arunosha, the executive of Broadcast Thai Television, selected Namtaan to play the lead in the drama "Matjurat See Namphueng" on Channel 3, replacing Aff Taksaorn who withdrew. This gave Namtaan a leading role in her very first drama and she has been under contract with Broadcast Thai Television since 2016 to the present.
Besides "Matjurat See Namphueng," Namtaan Pijakthana has starred in numerous Channel 3 dramas such as Ruan Rissaya, Dao Khiang Duean, Sai Lap Sam Mit, Saphai Jao, The Cupids: Love Company Episode Kamthep Online, Tawan Yor Saeng, Prakat Kamthep, Likhit Haeng Jan, Phom Athan, Khaen Rak Salap Chatta, Sai Lap Lip Gloss, Promlikhit, Mue Prap Maha Udom, Nap 8, Rak Dai Rue Young?, and more.
