Comedian Ko Tee Opens Up About Marriage: I Told Her I Wanted to Break Up and Reveals Moment He Fled to England Because He Couldnt Take It Anymore

Famous comedian Ko Tee Aramboy opened up on the show "Kon Lom Look," recalling his life's darkest storm, from falling into football gambling that left him nearly broke with only 200 baht left in his account, to the hot topic of his love life that puzzled many: a 12-year relationship but only one year of marriage before ending it. He admitted he was the one who initiated the breakup.

Ko Tee said that after successfully quitting heavy drug use—once as many as 30 pills a day—his life plunged again as he fell into football gambling.

Ko Tee said: "I managed to quit drugs but then I got addicted to gambling instead. They come together, brother. They ride in together. I played because I thought I was tough, bold-hearted, a fighter, fighting until knockout rounds—Thai football, Spanish, Italian, Bundesliga, Premier League, even Ligue 1. The biggest loss on one match was 500,000 baht."

Ko Tee said: "That was the final straw in my life. Cash losses excluding revolving money totaled 11 million baht, leaving me with just 200 baht. To earn 500,000 baht, I worked hard from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., just sitting there. I was broke, totally broke, and my life was over—and in the end, it really was."

Epic love story: 12 years dating, one year married, breakup initiated by him.

Another topic under public scrutiny is the love drama: married on 17 December 2023 and announced separation on the same date in 2024. Ko Tee revealed that he never really wanted to hold the wedding because their mindsets did not align.

Aun Phuwanat said: "After 12 years of dating, you still didn’t know each other before marriage?"

Ko Tee said: "Yes, brother. Before marriage, I felt like it was a different person, but after marriage, I was a different person. Let me clarify to society and social media: people think I was the problem and the woman broke up with me. To emphasize, I was the one who broke up with her, not the other way around. As soon as I announced it on Instagram, I got on a plane to England—12 to 14 hours—because I couldn't take it anymore."

Ko Tee said: "I chose not to explain the details because as a man, speaking badly of a woman would make me look bad, not manly. Society would criticize me harshly, calling me bad and unkind. Yes, that's true, but I just wanted to end it."

Ko Tee also revealed the story regarding property after the breakup, saying the woman still lives in the house, and he cannot enter because the door has been locked.

Ko Tee said: "She’s still in my house. At first, she wanted one of my houses, but I couldn’t give it because I bought that house before I met her, and I paid for it entirely with money earned from the entertainment industry, not from the cactus business. The cactus money was transferred to her account directly, not mine. After discussions, we agreed that I would pay 3 million baht and give her a BMW car. I don’t have cash, so I gave her 1 million baht upfront by mortgaging the house. The rest is deducted from my salary at 30,000 baht per month. I gave in on everything."
